While this puzzle looks more suitable for some tablet in some long queue event.Īll in all, Hexcells worth its price, and a mark like 6.6/10. Especially on the PC station, where we can use the same rig for some round of Gwent/Counter-Strike/GTA Online or something. Which is, obviously, boring for the most part of the audience. Or you just blow your head off with the last set of puzzles, which is not that much about logic and quick thinking anymore, but rather demanding much patience and arithmetics. Even if you're in deep love with minesweeper and/or sudoku - there are chances you'll drop Hexcells somewhere after the beginning. This type of challenge isn't actually supposed to fit everybody. And hexes grid now making much more sense than in the preliminary levels. However, after just a bit of stages with the basic set of Minesweeper rules, the game goes into some nonogram/sudoku depth, which is surely adding more challenge. Meaning you have some field of hexes, some of them are for left clicks and some of them for right clicks and you need to decide what is what. Hexcells, a little puzzle game which starts as the Minesweeper with hexes. ![]()
